Ukraine’s Sigma Software Labs at London Tech Week 2024

The 11th iteration of London Tech Week, held from June 10th to 12th, was a significant milestone for the global tech community, with over 45,000 attendees from 146 countries converging at the Olympia exhibition venue. This year’s conference was 60% larger than last year, and we were a part of this dynamic and inspiring gathering.

A Boost for Ukraine’s Tech Ecosystem

London Tech Week 2024 was a powerful platform for showcasing the innovations of Ukrainian founders. The Founders Stage, tailored specifically for entrepreneurs, kicked off with a keynote on “Ukraine’s Tech Renaissance: Pioneering Investments and Cultivating Unicorns to Become Europe’s Next Tech Powerhouse.” Panels discussed topics such as choosing the right location for a startup, building successful businesses, and crafting compelling investor narratives.

On behalf of Sigma Software Group as a main partner of the delegation, we were a part of the Ukrainian pavilion, which also included six Ukrainian-founded startups pre-selected to represent the ecosystem in London:

1. Akurateco – white label platform for financial institutions to run payment processing with zero investments into software and infrastructure.

2. avataa – digital twins of infrastructure, remote teams, products, services and customers, up to the Single Source of Truth. It is digital twins that contribute to the sustainability, evolution, and monetization of SaaS companies’ processes.

3. birb – AI long-term rental app with an AI rental agent, who quickly finds the perfect flat.

4. Datrics – solution that helps businesses make data-driven decisions without coding or prior algorithms’ knowledge.

5. Effy AI – AI-powered employee performance management software for small business

6. Metaenga – XR Training Platform designed to provide workforce development and workplace safety for industrial enterprises globally.

Highlighting Ukrainian Startups

Over 5,000 startups and 350 speakers participated in the 3-day expo, with more than 70 events scheduled. This provided an excellent opportunity to present Ukrainian startups to the global business community. On June 10th, Krasovsky Valery, CEO, and co-founder of Sigma Software, kicked off the Pitch Session of Ukrainian startups with a welcome speech and an overview of the Ukrainian tech ecosystem and investment potential.

This year’s event mainly was focused on the prospects and challenges of AI, as well as a framework to operate with the risks associated with the technology globally. Experts explored how AI and science can work together, expected advances in AI technology, and how businesses can use it for innovation and sustainability. In this regard, Kirill Kirikov, CTO and co-founder, at Datrics, during Ukrainian Pitch Stage presented their new AI Assistant that helps numerous companies globally to work with data easily.
